This Program was written in C. It does require a color monitor. CGA or better.
The new versions will be uploaded To the BBS listed above first So you may check
for them there or leave messages for me with your comments! Greatly appreciated!
Instructions: 5 Ships include: 1 five segment long,
2 four segment long,
1 three segment long,
1 two segment long
2 Scatter Bombs Unlimited Missiles
The playing boards are 10 X 10 for each player (Requires 2 players)
Ship placement Directions include: (Left to Right),(Top to Bottom),
(Diagonal top to Bottom)
Start Game by typing The program Name "Batlshp2" Note: Use ? for help!
Enter the Names for Player one and two.
With the other player turned away as not to see the entries, enter the
ship locations by: Row (A-J) then Column (0-9) then direction (\/RD)
Example Type "B3\" for ship at B3 plotted down-right
Note: Directions are (R)ight,(D)own,(/)diagonal down-left,(\)diagonal down-right
Up and Left have been omitted to save space in the program!
To Shoot: Fire Missiles by typing the Row-Col coordinate you want to fire at!

To use a ScatterBomb: Press S first for Missile coordinate and the program will
ask you for the ScatterBomb Coordinates. Example S then B4
Then the program will use the ScatterBomb at that Coordinate!
A ScatterBomb will hit any and all ajacent coordinates to that coordinate you
selected also! But will not display any misses (only hits) ajacent to the
coordinate! Only TWO ScatterBombs Allowed Per Game!
You will hear a Double tone when each ship is sunk!
When all ships in one of the players grid are Sunk! The Game is Won!
The Symbols far left and far right indicate how many: Ships to Find and
ScatterBombs Left
